As I'm sure you are painfully aware, today is the first day of Apple's World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) event, and it will be kicked off with a keynote address by Steve Jobs in which he will officially unveil the next-generation iPhone as well as probably drop iPhone OS4 into our greedy, greasy, nerd hands. You might also remember some time back, gadget blog Gizmodo got their hands on a "misplaced" prototype of the new iPhone.

Well, as we were taught by after-school specials (or Fat Albert, depending on which stations you watched), our actions have consequences. Take drugs; go flying out of a second story window (thanks Helen Hunt). Have unprotected sex; get AIDS. Drink beers; die in a ball of flaming death. Allow Gizmodo to serve as a modern day School House Rock and take away the following lesson:

don't fuck with Apple

Today is Apple's premiere keynote, this is where they make all their money, and this is what everyone is going to be talking about for the next month, and Gizmodo gets none of it. Well done, greedy nerds.
