Obama Signs Bill To Keep Student Loan Rates Low
Good news for students concerned about attending college and accumulating unbearable student loan debt! The road has just been made easier with a new bill signed by President Barack Obama to keep student loan rates low.

On Friday President Obama signed legislation that he says will keep construction workers on the job and prevent a spike in interest rates on new loans to college students. This "will make a real difference" for millions of Americans.
“This bill will keep interest rates on federal student loans from doubling this year, which would have hit nearly 7 1/2 million students with an average of $1,000 more dollars on their loan payments,” said Obama at his weekly address.
