Drumbeats of War Begin as McCain Declares War with Syria?
Beating on his proverbial tom-tom, U.S. Senator John McCain wants a war with Syria now that NATO's war with Libya is nearly finished.
In addressing the World Economic Forum in Jordan on Sunday, Sen. McCain stated: “Now that Military operations in Libya are ending, there will be renewed focus on what practical military operations might be considered to protect civilian lives in Syria.” In layman's terms, a Syrian war is coming.
Does Sen. McCain have Alzheimer’s or is he just suffering from senility? It's the prerogative of the President of the United States to carry out foreign affairs of this nature. As far as this writer recalls, Sen. McCain lost the election for President of the United States in 2008.
Gaddafi is not even in the grave and Sen. McCain says that the Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, can't “get away with mass murder.” The United Nations notes that 3,000 people have been killed in the Syrian government's recent actions, while the Syrian government states that over 1,100 soldiers and police have been killed recently.
A wise man once told me that it is what comes out of a man's mouth that makes him wicked.
